MSAB XRY Extraction Platform is a digital forensics solution designed to acquire and decode data from mobile devices and related sources. It supports logical, file system, and—where available—physical extractions across a broad range of iOS and Android devices, as well as SIM cards, memory cards, and device backups. The platform transforms raw acquisitions into readable artifacts such as messages, call logs, contacts, app data, photos and videos, location information, and usage logs.
Built for evidential integrity, XRY uses cryptographic hashing, a secure evidence container, and comprehensive audit logs to help maintain chain of custody. Optional modules extend capabilities to cloud-based sources (with appropriate legal authority) and screen-capture workflows when standard methods are not feasible. XRY can be deployed on a workstation or as part of a kiosk/triage setup, and it integrates with companion tools for analysis and reporting. Regular updates expand device and app support, helping investigators keep pace with new mobile technologies.
